Action Against Hunger is the world’s hunger specialist whose primary goal is to create a better way to deal with deadly hunger. Action Against Hunger is the leader in a global movement that aims to end life-threatening hunger for good within our lifetimes. The organization is committed to doubling the number of children who receive urgent hunger care, from three million to six million by 2020. Of every dollar donated, 91 cents go directly to saving lives today and preventing hunger tomorrow.

Since 1968, Anera has helped refugees and others hurt by conflicts in the Middle East live with dignity and purpose.

Since its founding in 1881 by visionary leader Clara Barton, the American Red Cross has been the nation’s premier emergency response organization. We bring shelter, food and comfort to those affected by disasters, large and small. We collect lifesaving donated blood and supply it to patients in need. We provide support to our men and women in military bases around the world, and to the families they leave behind. We train communities in CPR, first aid and other skills that save lives. And we assist our neighbors abroad with critical disaster response, preparedness and disease prevention efforts. We are able to do all this by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

The mission of the Anne Arundel County Food Bank (AACFB) is to fight hunger by assuring that all those in need, especially children, have access to food and other resources.

Arkansas Foodbank, the largest hunger relief organization in Arkansas, offers innovative programming focused on serving hungry Arkansans with healthy and nutritious food. Programs like Food For Kids, Food For Families and Food For Seniors provide food and other resources for more than 400 food pantries, schools, shelters, senior centers and other agencies that directly aid hungry Arkansans across a 33-county region. The Foodbank is a proud member of Feeding America and the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance.

Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. is a unique nonprofit organization committed to creating affordable housing opportunities and improving the lives of low income individuals through community development. ACDS directly implements several homeownership and rental programs and acts as a developer, funding administrator, and project manager for a variety of affordable housing and community development initiatives alongside our many partners.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank works to end hunger across metro Atlanta and north Georgia with the food, people, and big ideas needed to make sure all members of our community have access to enough nourishment to live a healthy and productive life.
